Now we have a person selling SEO services coming in and askingfor free help, and then getting upset when no one responds to him immediatly because he has a deadline to meet.. Now I don’t have a problem with people learning.. And I support everyone that goes out and learns all they can.. But, when you are selling your services you had better be very sure that you are worth your rate.. Because I don’t think it’s right for you to expect your clients to pay you to learn.. Especially when you come to a forum and demand that people help you right away becasue you have a dealine to meet..

My issues along this line are rather similar to yours. Am I just being “cranky”? Perhaps but soliciting advice for free, on the very basics, after the fact, for something you’re getting paid to do, rubs me the wrong way.
There are folks who get the “cart before the horse” in all walks but when they’re hiding behind a computer, I guess it makes it easier to do.

Couldn’t agree more. These people ought to be shot. I have a business site http://www.fashion-electronics.co.uk and have always shyed away from SEO companies after my first experience for that very reason. But picking up decent SEO techniques myself, has been a slow process. Hang ‘em, torture them, Shoot them all I say…..oh sorry… got a bit carried away there !!!
