Just curious Nathan, not that I don’t agree with you that diamonds are terribly over priced, but what does that have to do with the scummy marketing tactics of creating an “impartial” web site just to pimp your own product?? You don’t have a problem with someone creating a “consumer’s guide” just to say their stuff is best??

As for your specific side by side comparison, that’s sort of worthless.. I can show people two cars, one a Ferrari the other a Chevy and they wouldn’t be able to tell which one was better either..

let me guess one of you diamond guys are gonna try and say real diamonds are scarce?? the diamond bus is a huge scam in itself. I bought a diamond nexus labs and it is beautifull. We have had it over two years now and it still looks great. I have a freind that has a real 15000 dollar ring and i can put it side by side and cant tell the diffrence……. and all this talk of if a jeweler can tell the diffrence…. who fu&%$ing cares….dont try and take it to a jeweler.

Well, since this post was more about their less than ethical efforts to scam people through fake web sites that their stones I’m not real sure why I would care if the stone sparkles.. Besides, if your “uncle” can’t tell the difference between a diamond and a CZ then he probably wasn’t a very good jeweler anyway..

I had my center stone in my wedding set replaced with a Nexus Lab stone and not even my uncle, who is a jeweler could tell that it was lab created. I guess I don’t know what all the complaining is about. If you could afford to have a big real diamond, then go buy one. for the rest of us that want a little upgrade or a little sparkle and would also like to be able to afford our mortgage, i’d go with Nexus again and again.

We purchased two rings from Carat. They are the most beautiful rings I have ever seen and no one knows they are not real! My engagement ring is now 3 years old and they other ring 1 year. They look as beautiful as they did the day they arrive. You will not be disappointed!

I bought two rings and a pair of CZ earrings from Jeweler’s Direct last year. I was impressed when I first opened the package and have continued to be satisfied with the quality a year and a half later. Everyone that has seen this jewelry has thought it was the real thing. It’s important to remember not to buy stones so big, that it would appear almost impossible for you to afford under normal circumstances. All of my jewelry is white gold btw. When my jewelry starts to become dirty or cloudy, I simply clean them with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste and they look brilliant again. Hope this helps. FYI, I settled on this company after months of research. Check out their BBB rating too.
